Editorial policy
Trusted Concert Review aims to make concert writing clear, fair and attentive to what a reader can verify or hear. Our editorial decisions are made to serve the reader, and we revise material when a meaningful error comes to light.
Accuracy and context
We check names, titles, programme details and other factual claims against available material before publication. We separate observation from interpretation, avoid presenting opinion as fact, and use careful wording where a point is uncertain. A review reflects a particular account of a performance, not a universal response.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial coverage is not offered in exchange for favourable treatment. Partner or sponsored material is labelled clearly wherever it appears, so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. A partnership does not determine our conclusions or guarantee coverage.
Corrections
Readers can use the Contact page to flag an error and, where possible, identify the passage and the correction needed. We assess the information, update material when warranted and make the correction clear in context rather than quietly leaving a known error in place.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. When an image is illustrative rather than a documentary photograph, we do not present it as a record of a real performance, person or venue.
